I've never had a massage. How should I prepare & what should I expect?
Each massage experience at our facility is custom-tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. To ensure you receive the best possible outcome from your session, we recommend following these simple guidelines:
1. **Hydration:** Be sure to hydrate well on the day prior to and the day of your appointment. Proper hydration can enhance the effectiveness of your massage.
2. **Personal Hygiene:** Please arrive with proper hygiene. While we recommend cleanliness, you may skip applying moisturizer on your skin before your session.
3. **Timeliness:** Arrive on time, ideally 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. This allows adequate time for any necessary consultation and paperwork.
4. **Restroom Use:** We suggest using the restroom just prior to your appointment to ensure you are comfortable throughout the session.
5. **Open Communication:** Don’t hesitate to ask your therapist any questions you may have or voice any concerns regarding the massage. Communication is essential, and your comfort is our priority.
During your session, you will have the opportunity to disrobe to a level that you find comfortable. Your therapist will exit the room to allow you privacy before returning once you are settled on the massage table, where you will be draped with sheets and blankets for your modesty and comfort.
To maintain an environment of professionalism and respect, we emphasize the importance of clear communication between you and your therapist. If at any point you feel uncomfortable, please notify your therapist immediately so they can make the necessary adjustments to better meet your needs. Our practice maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding inappropriate behavior to ensure the safety and comfort of both clients and therapists.
We strive to provide a calming and restorative experience for all our clients, and we look forward to your visit!
What should I tip my provider?
Tipping your massage therapist is not mandatory, but it is certainly appreciated as a gesture of gratitude for the quality of service received. While the decision to tip ultimately rests with the client, it often reflects the level of satisfaction with your experience. Our therapists are dedicated to providing a relaxing and rejuvenating environment, ensuring that each session meets your individual needs and expectations.
If you feel that your massage therapist has gone above and beyond during your treatment, a tip is a wonderful way to acknowledge their hard work and commitment to your well-being. Standard tipping practices typically range from 15% to 20% of the service fee, but any amount that feels appropriate to you is welcome. Thank you for considering this aspect of your experience, and we appreciate your support.
